Cyprus - Duty Free Allowances
If you travel between Cyprus and another EU country, you're entitled to
import or export goods of an unlimited value provided they're for personal use.
If you import or export cigarettes or alcohol above the limits shown below, you
must be able to 'prove` that they're for your personal lose; if you cannot, they
may be confiscated by customs officials. The limits are subject to change, and
you should check with an official source before buying large amounts.
If you're coming to Cyprus from a non-EU country you're entitled to import
the following goods duty-free:
One litre of spirits (over 22 degrees proof) or two litres of fortified
wine, sparkling wine or other liqueurs
Two litres of still table wine
200 cigarettes or 700 cigarillos or 50 cigars or 2508 of tobacco
50g of perfume
250m1 of toilet water
Other goods, including gifts and souvenirs to the value of CY�175 (CYf9O for
under 15s).
Duty-free allowances apply on both outward and return journeys, even if both
are made on the same day, and the combined total can be imported into your home'
country.
