Villa Scandinavia is a true 5-star luxury villa situated within the prime location of Coral Bay and just 100m from the sea. Coral Bay is famous for its sandy beaches and many other amenities. The villa enjoys peaceful surroundings at the end of a residential cul-de-sac.

DETAILS OF THE INTERIOR

The interior of Villa Scandinavia is stunningly designed with Bo-Concept furniture and furnishings throughout.
The focal point lounge has large sliding windows opening out to the villa’s terrace and private infinity pool. It features a large corner sofa if you want to lie back and watch the Satellite TV or a DVD on the wall mounted 40’’ flat screen TV. A hi-fi with surround sound system & I-pod docking station will help get you in the mood or provide background music to relax by.

Heading through the stone faced archway, you reach the contemporary and elegant dining and kitchen areas.
Villa Scandinavia’s dining area is furnished with a walnut dining table and eight elegant chairs. It has two sets of patio doors – one opening out to the villa’s private infinity pool and the other to the outside dining area.
The kitchen is strikingly modern with walnut units offset with black granite work surfaces, mosaic tiled splashbacks, stainless steel handles and appliances. The kitchen is equipped with a large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, waist height oven, hob and extractor hood. The kitchen also includes many other extras including microwave, coffee maker and water dispenser to name just a few.

Completing the Villa Scandinavia’s ground floor area is a large twin bedroom with adjacent bathroom. The bedroom is fitted with wardrobes and has patio doors leading out to the villa’s terrace.
Upstairs, there are two further bedrooms, both with en-suite shower rooms. The large master bedroom has a king-sized bed whilst the second is a twin.

Both upstairs bedrooms have access to the large first floor balcony that faces south and provides the perfect area for relaxing on the luxurious sun loungers.

Sea Views can be enjoyed from this area, but for really special views, a spiral staircase leads up to the roof terrace where a 360 vista of the mountains and sea provides a perfect spot for quiet relaxation and a sun worshippers paradise.

The villa is fully air-conditioned, has wireless internet access as well as a good quality travel cot and highchair for infants.

DETAILS OF THE EXTERIOR

The inside of Villa Scandinavia is special, but the outside areas are really what sets this villa apart.

The attractive stone built exterior and design includes for a wonderful shaded terrace with Rattan sofa set and coffee table looking over the 10m x 4m private infinity pool and garden areas.

Unusual and attractive banana shaped divans and luxury sun loungers enable you to enjoy the spacious paved patio areas after a swim or whilst reading your favourite book.

To the side of the house is an outside dining area (next to the kitchen) with a large stone built BBQ and Rattan table and chairs to seat six comfortably. The smart exterior lighting makes alfresco dining a delight.
Villa Scandinavia is accessed by a secure set of wooden double doors which lead into a long private driveway that can easily accommodate two to three cars.

A set of four palm trees completes the Mediterranean feel and an outside pool shower helps with cooling off and rinsing on those hot summer days in your Cyprus holiday villa from heaven.

THE LOCAL AREA

The blue flag beaches of Corallia and Coral Bay with soft sand and crystal clear waters are within a 5-10 min walk. Coral Bay’s main street of shops and restaurants is also within walking distance, making this one of the most conveniently situated holiday villas in Coral Bay. In the summer Coral Bay has an excellent choice of restaurants, bars, and night clubs if you want to dance the night away.

An excellent bus service takes you from Coral Bay into the town of Paphos with its historical harbour, gift shops and restaurants. Also be sure to visit the ‘Old Town’ of Paphos with its blend of high quality shops and traditional markets.

Things to do in the Coral Bay area include Paphos Bird Park, reptile park, horse riding, Akamas Peninsular and Lara Beach Nature Reserve (famous for turtles), hiking/walking, buggy safaris, 4 x 4 safaris, the Sea Caves area, sailing and many more.

From Coral Bay the amusements and renowned Aphrodite Water Park in Paphos are also easily accessible, as are numerous archaeological ruins in Paphos such as the Tombs of the Kings and Paphos Archaeological Park.
If you want to get out and explore some fantastic scenery, take a trip to the Akamas Peninsula, Polis, Latchi or even Troodos mountains. The Akamas is an untouched part of Cyprus with unspoilt coastline and traditional fish taverns in stunning seaside locations.

Please note that this property can be accessed at any time after 3pm on arrival day so don't worry if you have a late flight. We can arrange taxi transfer by our own driver who knows where the property is and assist with car hire from the airport if desired. The property is professionally managed and has linen changes on a weekly basis.
Air-Conditioning is included in the rental price as is a welcome pack of basic essentials for your arrival.
£200 security deposit required.

Everything we hoped it would be. Modern, clean, quiet and well equipped. Plenty of space, although there were only 2 of us.

2. And the location?

As advertised. It was a 5-10 min walk to nearest bar, supermarket and bus stop. Coral Bay was a 15-20 walk. Nice and quiet.

3. Were there any restaurants/bars/shops, beaches or sightseeing trips, that you would highly recommend?

Really liked Japanese restaurant (Wabi Sabi) on high street.

holiday testimonial The villa Scandinavia is very comfortable and very well equipped. Our daughter was married in the hotel nearby and we hosted a barbeque for 38 people at the villa the next day and everyone thought the villa and pool were fantastic with beautiful and comfortable furniture. All the guests were staying in other accommodation locally and loved dropping in on us! We would definitely choose to stay here again, but for longer next time.

We liked the fact that it was close to the village but only a 10 minute walk, and located in a quiet cul de sac - not a resort.

All the restaurants that we tried were good and welcoming.

The only suggestion would be that as it was quite hot ( but still only early June!) it would have been great to have not just the quilts on the beds but a cool cotton top sheet as that was all we needed.
