Villa Jasmine in Agios Georgios is a brand new (July 2009) luxury villa with great views to the sea, the Akamas nature reserve, a private pool, fully air-conditioned and lavishly equipped for you to have a relaxing holiday.

A 7 Seater Toyota Land Cruiser 4x4 car is included in the rental price. This enables you to fully enjoy the nearby Akamas Nature Reserve including Lara Beach and also represents a significant cost saving on your holiday.

Villa Jasmine is situated on the edge of Agios Georgios village (St George) with easy access to the beach, restaurants, Coral Bay and Paphos.

Villa Jasmine is spacious, bright and airy with contemporary style furniture and has everything you would need to accommodate eight people in comfort.

The ground floor of Villa Jasmine is a large open plan area comprising lounge, dining area and modern fully equipped kitchen as well as a bedroom and adjacent shower room. Upstairs there are three bedrooms, one with en-suite shower room and two other bathrooms – a total of four bedrooms and four bathrooms.

A covered outside terrace opens off the lounge to the garden and private swimming pool which has a separate shallow area for children and a waterfall feature (great for cooling off on those hot summer afternoons!).

DETAILS OF THE INTERIOR

The front door of Villa Jasmine opens into the open plan area comprising lounge, dining room and kitchen.
The kitchen is very modern in its design with granite worktops and tiled splashbacks, stainless steel hood and state of the art electric hob. It is well equipped with appliances including a washing machine, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. All other crockery, glassware and utensils are included also.

Between the kitchen and lounge, there is a dining area with large table and eight chairs. The dining area has a door opening out to the outside terrace area and private pool. The terrace is furnished with an outside table and six chairs perfect for relaxing in the shade, a quick dip in the refreshing private pool, alfresco dining and socialising with your party.

The airy lounge area has a three and a two seater sofa and single arm chair all in smart brown leather - perfect for relaxing in front of the 42” plasma television with Satellite and DVD player.

From the lounge, sliding doors open out onto a covered terrace which has shade in the mornings and therefore an ideal area for breakfast. A twin bedroom with wardrobes and adjacent shower room completes the ground floor.
Upstairs, the landing leads to three good-sized bedrooms and three bathrooms.

The master bedroom has a super king-sized bed and en-suite shower-room with doors leading out to the balcony with table, chairs and stunning views across the fields to the sea at Agios Georgious in one direction and across the landscaped gardens, the private pool and to the nearby Akamas Nature reserve in the other. The perfect place to enjoy a leisurely coffee or your favourite aperitif at sunset.

There are two further bedrooms, one double and one twin. Both are bright, airy rooms with wardrobes. A family bathroom and a shower room complete the upstairs areas. The villa is fully air-conditioned throughout with central heating available for those cooler off-season evenings meaning that Villa Jasmine can be enjoyed all year round.

A sofa bed can be supplied to sleep an extra child in the master bedroom.

DETAILS OF THE EXTERIOR

Villa Jasmine in Agios Georgios is an attractive villa with feature balustrades and pillars on the front.
The villa is well enclosed with fencing for privacy and is accessed by gates into the driveway which then leads to the front of the villa.

The enclosed and landscaped gardens include a very attractive private pool which has a main area of 10m x 4m with separate shallow area of 2m x 4m which is great for smaller children as well as cooling off under the waterfall feature.

The surrounding terrace is well equipped with sun loungers, parasols and table and chairs as well as BBQ making it the perfect setting to make the most of your Cyprus Holiday Villa.

Local Area & Things To Do

The village of Agios Georgios is walking distance from the villa with a number of traditional tavernas serving BBQd meat, fish and local dishes of the highest quality. This includes a fabulous fish restaurant which overlooks Agios Georgios’ picturesque fishing port, bird sanctuary and the sea.

You’re only a five to seven minute drive from Coral Bay, Peyia village and twenty minutes into Paphos town. The newly opened Philippous supermarket on the edge of Coral Bay means locally produced meat and vegetables as well as other usual conveniences can be purchased with just a five minute drive. Easy access can be gained to the beautifully traditional village of Kathikas and you can also easily reach Polis and Latchi on the other side of the Akamas. The beach and coastline at Agios Georgios can be walked to easily (distance 700m) with a choice of routes and areas of coastline to enjoy. The monastery at Agios Georgios is beautifully architectured and is always a draw for visitors to the area. There is also a small archaeological park to explore.

Things To Do

Other things to do in the area include Paphos Bird Park, horse riding at George’s Ranch, Akamas Peninsula and Lara Nature Reserve, hiking/walking, buggy safaris, 4 x 4 safaris, Sea Caves area, sailing and many more. Amusement and water parks in Paphos are also easily accessible from Agios Georgios as are numerous archaeological ruins such as the Tombs of the Kings. If you want to get out and explore some fantastic scenery, take a trip to the Akamas, Polis, Latchi or even Troodos mountains. The Akamas is an untouched part of Cyprus with unspoilt coastline and traditional fish taverns in stunning seaside locations. Troodos is of course the main mountain range in Cyprus, not many people know that in the winter....you can ski! Villa Jasmine in Agios Georgios is the perfect location for your relaxing Cyprus holiday.

The accommodation was superb, beautiful swimming pool. Plenty of sunbeds and a lovely big parasol around the pool.
The kitchen was modern and very well equipped.

Although our location was quite remote (which is what we wanted) a 4x4 vehicle was supplied with the accommodation and seated all 6 of us comfortably.

The supermarket was only about 5mins drive away and stocked everything we needed, the manager was very obliging and helpful as were the staff.

Coral bay strip was 5 mins drive away and had a great choice of restaurants, would recommend the fish and chip restaurant and the beautiful safe sandy beach.

We met the owner of the villa who took great care to see that we were okay. The pool was well maintained and checked twice a week.

The scenery along the west coast is spectacular and I recommend everyone to hire a 4x4 and explore it.

St. George's harbour has a beautiful church and you can see the fishing boats come in with their catch of fresh fish.

Although the villa is in a very quiet location you are close to all amenities, a visit into Pathos and the harbour is a must. We also spent a day driving through the Troodos mountains which I would also recommend.

We were all very happy with the service provided during our stay and wouldn't hesitate to visit again.

holiday testimonial Thank you for all of your assistance arranging our stay in Cyprus, we all had a very pleasant stay and enjoyed the climate (even if the locals thought it just a little bit chilly!) Villa Jasmine is a very well appointed villa and Alex was very accomodating, seeing to all our needs for the duration. We found everything to our liking, from the tranquil surroundings (except for a Cypriot wedding procession on the way to St George's harbour with horns a blazing - we cheered them on from our balcony and sunloungers!) to the provision of conveniences such as the large flat screen sattelite television (with a free English language movie channel and DVD & video players laid on) and the well appointed kitchen with all the appliances, plates/cups/glasses and utensils we needed.

As we stayed in early February, the pool was a little cool, but we didn't let that put us off! I'm sure that in the summer months it would be perfect for a relaxing dip!

Although we were too early for turtles, the sanctuary at Lara Bay is a beautiful unspoiled area (like much of the Cyprus) and Polis has an 'old quarter' which is every inch the traditional Cypriot village - well worth a visit! Whilst we were over there, we visited Lacci for some Mezze where we were spoiled for choice of fish tavernas and fed to bursting!

The Toyota Landcruiser provided with the villa was a real plus and allowed us a measure of convenience to get about and afforded us some spectacular views whilst driving about.

We all had a wonderful time and would reccommend both Cyprus and Cyprus Property and Villas. Thank you for all your help!

holiday testimonial Just a quick note to say thank you for your help in organising our recent trip to Villa Jasmine. The taxi was there as planned and when we got to the villa it was perfect. Everything was clean and new and it was furnished to a very high standard. The car was also essential as the villa was not walking distance from any shops and it was great to have it included in the price. We were also lucky with the weather - hot and sunny six out of seven days.

Please pass on our thanks to Alex the owner - we met him a couple of times - and to David the neighbour who looks after the Villa for whom nothing was too much trouble. David's restaurant recommendations were also spot on!!

I have to say we were all expecting something to be wrong because the villa was a great price and the car was included - it seemed to good to be true - but we were wrong, everything was as you said and as we booked. Thank you again - we would all recommend it to other visitors.
