Sleeps 6 in contemporary luxury.
Set on a hillside in 555m² of landscaped peace and tranquility the villa has a breathtaking view across the entire Chrysochou Bay and Latchi Marina below. Easy access to sandy beaches with crystal clear waters. Neo Chorio village with its several tavernas is in easy strolling distance.
The three bedrooms consist of one ground floor double with en-suite bathroom and patio, and two first floor twins both also with their own bathrooms and balconies. All bedrooms have large contemporary Italian wardrobes. The lounge has 3 sofa beds which each serve comfortably as a large single, great for the kids to camp out on if they feel like a change of scenery.
A highly specified, fully equipped kitchen diner opens out to an airy lounge, with plenty of seating around a TV with DVD Player, 500 game Wii, and iPod dock.
A large range of floor to ceiling picture windows look out over the garden, private pool and the view of the bay and harbour beyond. The garden extends right round the villa if you want to follow the sun or the shade, there is an area at the side for barbeque chefs!
There’s a large first floor sun terrace with outdoor dining table and chairs. This is a great spot for pre dinner drinks since it takes best advantage of the fabulous view. If you're an early bird the sunrise is quite spectacular from here.
Old Neo Chorio village is an easy stroll away, its local eateries include the fabulous family friendly and much blogged about Kouppas Stone Castle Taverna. There's also an Aladdins Cave of a local shop which will cater for all your daily needs.
Cyprus culture is very much alive here with old ladies weaving traditional rugs and crocheting lace. Visit the Triskellion Pottery, famous for its replicas of ancient pottery and its blue jugs.
Less than 5 minutes drive down the hill, Latchi's once tiny fishing harbour has been transformed into a modern marina, but it's still kept its laid back charm. Old stone fronted fish warehouses have been turned into water sports facilities, shops, restaurants and tavernas. Mouth watering fresh fish comes straight off the boats and onto the grills of the eateries lining the harbour and beach front.
Latchi, and all the beaches near Bay View Villa, have water that’s as clear as it's possible to be. The expanse of sand and pebbles seems to go on forever and all framed by the mountains in the distance.
Polis town is a 10 minute drive. A pretty pedestrianised area is packed with shops, restaurants and bars. A large supermarket is nearby.
The Villa is right on the doorstep of The Akamas Peninsula, home of deep gorges, wild landscape, wide sandy bays and the legendary Baths of Aphrodite, a must for any keen walker or mountain biker. Take leisurely strolls on nature trails or hair raising rocky mountain bike descents... there's 90 square miles of it to explore.
For the less energetic there are always jeep safaris with a qualified guide to try, or quad bikes for hire with various organised trips ranging from a couple of hours discovery to a full day's exploration.
For something different try hiring a self drive speed boat from Latchi. They give you a 'driving' lesson, safety briefing, a route with stop off points at the lagoons, a cool box for your picnic and you're away!
The world famous Anassa Hotel and Spa are just down the road. Here you can get some five-star family pampering with dreamy sea views and a clutch of London-standard restaurants. You don't have to pay £600 a night to experience such luxury, you don't even have to book a treatment. The Anassa welcomes day visitors, for 25 euros you can use their spa pool, Gym, Sauna, Steam Room and Jet Pool. Every top-notch luxury hotel may now have a spa, but few have one as all-encompassing as the Anassa, you might not be able to resist their tempting spa menu.
