The tranquil port of Latsi is located just outside Polis. Polis is a small seaside town located on the north western 'tip' of the island. Polis Chryschous, it's full name, means Golden Town in Greek, and the area is now favoured by those seeking a relaxing holiday. The Polis area extends along the coast beyond the town and is dotted with picturesque fishing villages such as Latsi itself. The charming village of Argaka nestles just outside of Polis town, amongst unspoilt, lush green hillsides. Also within easy reach of the splendid Akamas National Park, this is a truly beautiful area.
