3. Were there any restaurants/bars/shops, beaches or sightseeing trips, that you would highly recommend?

Sysifos (Tomb of the Kings Road), never had a bad meal there in 9 years and The Elephant in Coral Bay is also excellent. Dimma Bar is close by and Michael is very friendly. There is a small taverna down by the general beach (turn right just past Pizza Hut on Tomb of the Kings) which is a lovely place to sit and watch the world go by.


4. Were you satisfied with the service provided by Cyprus Property & Villas?

Excellent service from start to finish


5. Is there anything else you would like to bring to our attention?

The villa was in need of some tender loving care, however, the guys that own it could not be more helpful

The villa was great, it had everything you could need as a home from home. the directions from Pathos Airport to the villa where spot on and the villa is well signed for easy access. The owner Antonis was lovely and very attentive, he came and made sure that we where ok and to see if we needed anything.
The villa is located in chlorakas which is a very short drive from pathos, 2mins in the car will take you to Tomb of Kings area which has a great selection of pubs and restaurants, ten minutes drive left from the villa takes you to Coral Bay and ten minute drive right will take you into pathos town and from there you can access the motorway to venture further a feild or take a trip to Kato Pathos Harbour.
Coral Bay was a lovely place to visit and the beach there is very beautiful.
The Tomb of Kings is great value for money to see a bit of Cyprus history.
Kato Pathos harbour is stunning and a good day out as there are plenty of pubs and restaurants. We went on the glass bottomed boat which was very interesting for the adults and fun for the kids (providing no one gets seasick). this was €18 for 2 adults and 2 kids.
Aphrodite waterpark is a good family day out as long as you are not to health and safety conscious, the park is great for kids but a bit worrying for adults as health and safety isnt a big concern.
If you are self catering then a Lidel has recently opened a 5 min walk from the villa. In Chlorakas village and Kato Pathos there is a good supermarket, Papantoniou, which is popular with the expats. however just be prepared for the prices.
The service I recieved from Julie at Cyprus Property & Villas was brilliant, I gave her my budget and she recommended 3 villas for me to choose from and told me a bit about them so that i could make an informed choice. she was very helpful.

I just wanted to let you know that we had a great time at the villa in Chlorakas, near Paphos. Thank you so much for your help organizing this.

Some feedback:
On the website, the villa is called Antonis II, yet when you get there they’re called Marinea Villas – confusing. [CPV note: we always advise clients in their Travel Pack that the full name for the resort is "Marina Villas"]
Perhaps the family could arrange to have the Villa names put up on the big board just before you turn left onto the road down to the Akti Beach hotel, other Villa names are here. [CPV note: We mentioned this to the Owner and he is going to do this]
Drive from Larnaca was easy and the directions great.
Villa was lovely, spacious and clean, the 2 upstairs balconies great to catch the sun as it moved round during the day, the pool nicely screened by fencing and trees, plants
Although the pool was unheated, we still used it as it was so hot some days
I think the owner may have assumed that we weren’t going to use the villa pool as we’d asked about a heated pool and so it wasn’t cleaned during our week. Nevertheless, it was OK, we used the pool net ourselves
The villa we were in is right next to a brook/stream, so lots of frogs chatting away which was actually quite nice but also lots of gnats. No problem though, the hire car lady at Larnaca warned us about mozzies even though it was early in the season (“they’ve got hobnail boots on this year!”) and so we bought some plug in mozzy-killers and spray

All in all, we’d definitely recommend the villa and booking through Holiday Lettings and Cyprus Property Villas.

2. And the location? Convenient for beach and sightseeing trips - although a car recommended.
(There are good bus and taxi services if you do not wish to hire a car).

Property was great. Good value, clean with a friendly owner.

The location was great. We went to Cyprus to celebrate our 10th Wedding Anniversary (we got married at the St George) so we had 3 other families travel out with us. Cyprus Villas organised properties for 2 of the other families all very close by to our villa. It's a 5 minute walk from the sea and in a nice quiet area.

Dimma Bar - nice, friendly and convenient. Pendaros (I think?) restaurant on the main road does cracking BBQed meat and fish.

Very much so. I was impressed with all my dealings with Cyprus Villas. They are friendly and informative giving good and honest advice. I would (and did) recommend them to others.




5. Is there anything else you would like to bring to our attention?


The directions to the villa could have been clearer. A map would have been really useful. We ended up having to phone the villa owner at midnight to give us directions. The sign for Marinas Villas is very faded and difficult to see.

"I have to say the property was very well maintained and looked after.
We spent endless hours in the swimming pool which was very clean and
well kept.
We had ample towels and the kitchen was very well stocked with cutlery
and dishes.
The location was very good as it was only a short drive from both the
beach and the local towns.
Car hire is highly recommended as the Villa is somewhat off the beaten track of
the main roads / bus routes.
Coral Beach is the best beach in the area.
The Tomb of Kings is a fun place to see and explore.
There are a number of good restaurants in the area but the one I would highly recommend would be the Koh I Noor, which is an Indian restaurant of very high quality of food and service and was very reasonably priced as well.
I did have a few problems in regards to the TV and the upstairs sink being blocked but these were quickly rectified by Antonis who was our point of contact if we had any problems. None were encountered after this.

Just a quick note to say thank you so much for all your help, our holiday was fantastic. The villa was great, very clean and perfectly positioned for peace and quiet! We loved the pool and made good use of it.

The location was great for us, we walked up to the bar a few nights and the Pentaras restaurant which is 5minutes walk away is fantastic!

Once again, thanks for all your help, it was the best holiday we've ever had!

For a relaxing Cypriot holiday, the Antonis II villas are ideal.

The villas are large and very well appointed within a quiet residential area just 10 minutes drive from Paphos.

Cyprus Property Villas were very helpful and easy to book with, no problems there.

We would use Cyprus property villas again, and also we would re visit Antonis villas,the owner was very friendly and always available if we needed something.

We think a car is necessary if you want to go and see the sights, although there is a shop, restaurant, and bar within walking distance.

The beach is very rocky, with no sand.

Sorry its taken so long to reply been busy at work. Holiday in cyprus was a nice break and would definetly return and use your company
again.

Reasons why - Most people have a trouble free holiday but as normal not us. I wont bore you with all the details,just for example,the villa leaked when we had heavy storm,two days later we lost the electricity. Saying that the owner moved us immediately to next door not a problem.

Only when you have problems do you find out how good the companies really are.

Speak to you both next year. Have a nice xmas

I found Cyprus Property & Villas an excellent company to deal with, very professional but with a personal touch. We have no immediate plans to visit Cyprus again but if and when we do Cyprus Property and Villas would be the first company we would look at. The villa was beautiful, everything we hoped. Arrangements forarrival worked well (met at airport & villa). Owners couldn't be more friendly and helpful (with a couple of minor things). We enjoyed spending a lot of time in the villa/pool.
