Whatever kind of cycling rings your bell, Cyprus is pretty close to perfect for it. Great roads with very little traffic? Check. Dramatic off-road trails with great scenery? Check. Very little rain to ruin your day? Check again.

If riding on two wheels floats your boat, you can have quality bikes delivered to your villa. Including helmet, pump, water bottle, spare tube and repair kit. And crucially, a telephone number to call in case of any problems.

We don't advise biking in the heat of high summer, but for the rest of the year Cyprus is ideal for biking holidays. Preferably with relaxation days by the pool added to the exertions. The Akamas Peninsula and the Troodos mountains offer some of the finest terrain in Europe for leisurely pottering or serious stump-jumping. For road riders, there is a never-ending procession of well-surfaced snaking roads through the mountains, and the few car drivers tend to be considerate of cyclists.

Important! Although a water bottle will be supplied, it's not enough if you are doing serious saddle time. We strongly recommend you bring a camelbak to keep you safe.
